Sichuan Sangao Biochemical Co., Ltd. was established in May 1998, is an earliest national high-tech enterprise engaged in the professional, systematic and commercial-scale production of protected amino acids, amino acid derivatives and peptide fragments. It is recognized as a Sichuan Provincial "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" Enterprise, a Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, and a Sichuan Provincial Quality and Integrity Benchmark Enterprise. At present, Sangao Biochemical has won a high reputation with its stable high-quality products supplying all around the world. Sangao Biochem headquarters is located in the Chengdu High-tech Zone. Its current production base, Sichuan Shifang Sangao Biochemical Industrial Co., Ltd., is situated in Shifang City, Sichuan Province, and comprises seven production workshops with an annual capacity of over 300 tons. In 2024, a new manufacturing base was established in the Xinshi Chemical District of Mianzhu City, operating under the name Sichuan Sangao Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. The new base will house over 30 automated intelligent GMP production lines with a planned capacity exceeding 3,000 tons. It is scheduled to commence operation in the fourth quarter of 2026.
