Fujian Nanban Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1985 and is located in the Economic Development Zone of Xianyou County, Fujian Province. The company has two major production bases covering a total area of 120 mu (approx. 80,000 m²), with 6 production workshops equipped with advanced automated pharmaceutical facilities in compliance with GMP standards, and a production area of 15,000 m². It strictly implements a full-process quality assurance and control system from raw materials and intermediates to finished products, and is equipped with precision analytical instruments such as high-performance liquid chromatographs, gas chromatographs, and UV-visible spectrophotometers for effective analysis and full-process monitoring of products.
Over the years, the company has always focused on the extraction technology of medicinal ingredients from animal bile and horns. It has established biochemical extraction technology research centers with South China University of Technology and Fuzhou University, undertaken multiple key scientific research projects in Fujian Province and Putian City, and obtained more than 50 related invention patents. Its current products cover over ten varieties, including:
• Chinese herbal medicine decoction pieces: pig bile powder, pig bile paste, bilirubin, buffalo horn powder, ox bile powder, asparagus powder
• Chinese herbal extracts: buffalo horn concentrated powder, hyodeoxycholic acid, cholic acid
• Pharmaceutical intermediates: chenodeoxycholic acid, 7-ketolithocholic acid, ursodeoxycholic acid, deoxycholic acid, cholesterol, tauroursodeoxycholic acid
• Feed additives: bile acid powder
