Morebio was founded in 2008, with a registered capital of RMB21.4824 million. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in R&D of new peptide drugs, and a National "Two Major" Project Construction Unit. In November 2011, it was awarded as “High-tech Enterprise” by Hubei Province. It has established the active substance research and development center of Mole Biology-Wuhan University and academician expert workstation. We have 20+ national invention patents, and undertake in 2 national major new drug creation projects.
Morebio establishes the full-chain of polypeptide drug R&D technology platform: polypeptide gene engineering expression (purification) platform, polypeptide drug molecular screening, design, identification and target research technology platform, bio-pharmaceutical identification, analysis and new preparation platform. We own 180 sets of high-end equipment such as cell high-content imaging detection system (American PE), high-throughput drug screening system (British Ttplabtech), multi-function enzyme marker (American PE), mass spectrometer, liquid chromatography and gas chromatography.
The cGMP-compliant production base is constructed in 2025, our 14500 m2 digital genetic engineering and cell production platforms can satisfy the GMP requirements of China, United States, and Europe. Our annual production of Semaglutide API and other polypeptides is 200KG. We are in the inspection of drug production license from Hubei(China) Drug Administration.
