We’re happy to announce that we have completed the Ecovadis benchmark for Wittenburg BV. Results from the benchmark confirm that our organisation is making very good progress within their ESG journey and transformation.

Wittenburg group is a qualified medical compounder designing and manufacturing soft thermoplastic elastomers and speciality engineering plastics compounds to ISO 13485 under the brand name Cawiton®. We have a strong presence as a supplier of polymer compounds to highly regulated and risk-averse markets such as medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging, food packaging and drinking water. The privately owned Wittenburg Group has more than 100 years of history and production locations in The Netherlands and China. 

We developed Cawiton® extrusion grades to make IntraVenous films. According to the bag design (mono or multilayers),  we can provide tailored formulations.

Our solutions are suitable for sterilisation.

We have developed Cawiton® grades with high medical quality to support pharmaceutical companies with their fluid handling components. Our TPE grades are designed for aseptic welding connections and sealing disconnection. 
Our extrusion grades are suitable for sterilization by gamma irradiation and autoclave.

Our Cawiton® grades have been developed to offer an alternative to butyl rubber, polyisoprene and other thermoset elastomers.
