Our alkoxylation technology is based on the proven performance characteristics of the BUSS-Loop® Reactor, achieving the highest efficiency in such reactions.

The small scale phosgene generation comes as a modular turnkey unit with a nameplate production capacity of 20 kg/h of gaseous phosgene, flexible to operate until ca. 5 kg/h depending on the demand of the phosgene consumer. The features of the bigger industrial units, such as the design philosophy of demand-driven dynamic production and hot stand-by capability, are maintained. Among the other characteristics, the safety concepts of double containment philosophy and automated measuring and control are adopted.
The reactor works with a slight excess of carbon monoxide over chlorine: both raw materials shall be fed to the unit by bottles on racks in client’s scope. The client shall also make available cooling water, electricity, air for instruments and purging to a safety absorption unit.
