About CapeBio

Capebio Technologies is a privately owned, 100% South African biotechnology company. It began as a research project in 2015, launched in 2018, and is headquartered at The Innovation Hub in Pretoria. Capebio mines genetic material from unique African ecosystems (including the Cape Floral Kingdom, the world's second-richest biodiversity hotspot) and uses a proprietary artificial-intelligence platform to discover and develop novel biomolecules, enzymes, proteins and peptides, manufacturing them on the African continent.
