Dying Patient Calls for Personalized Medicine

A PR specialist who died of breast cancer called to support the commercialization of personalized cancer drugs.

Adriana Jenkins, a public relations specialist for numerous biotech companies, has died from breast cancer. Jenkins was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer when she was just 31. Before she died, Jenkins wrote an editorial in Forbes calling for pharma to embrace personalized medicine.
