CPHI Webinar Series
Embedding sustainability capabilities in medicines manufacturing operations
What will this webinar address?
Learn more about the BioPhorum Biopharmaceutical Environmental Excellence Maturity Model (BEEMM)
Understand why this model has been developed and how it can be applied in your own organisation
Hear how organisations are planning on using the model in practice, with expert speakers from across the biopharmaceutical industry
Speakers will introduce BioPhorum’s Biopharmaceutical Environmental Excellence Maturity Model (BEEMM) that has been developed in collaboration with industry and sustainability experts to drive positive change across the biopharmaceutical value chain.
It focuses on reducing carbon emissions, embedding circular design, decreasing the impact of biopharma on nature and biodiversity, and improving data transparency. It supports industry-wide benchmarking and shared learning opportunities, whilst also aiding organisations with internal implementation roadmaps, leadership engagement, and consistent language for collaboration.
After the talks there will be an opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with the speakers, to learn how the model has been developed and how it can drive real value and impact across many types of organisation.
The webinar will cover:
- An introduction to BioPhorum and their member community, including organisations from across the biopharmaceutical value chain.
- Why the Biopharmaceutical Environmental Excellence Maturity Model has been put together.
- The benefits the model brings in aligning language and innovation roadmaps between suppliers, contract manufacturers and licence holders and how it can be applied elsewhere.
