Latvian Virotherapy Center has introduced a treatment for oncological diseases with virotherapy medication Rigvir, an antitumour medication of viral origin, which contains a live, natural ECHO group enterovirus with oncotropic and oncolytic qualities or the ability to find and destroy malignant cells.
Rigvir also functions as an immunomodulator, activating, and normalizing the immune system. The medication is nonpathogenic, not genetically modified, and well tolerated. It is registered in the EU country Latvia and available in Latvia’s pharmacies.
