Schlattingen, Switzerland – Canexis Pharma AG has published a new product flyer summarising its portfolio of cannabis-based active pharmaceutical ingredients for professional partners in regulated pharmaceutical markets. All products are manufactured at the company's EU-GMP site in the Canton of Thurgau.
The portfolio covers the whole value chain. Cannabis Extract (THC) and Cannabis Extract (CBD) are botanical extracts with up to 85 % cannabinoids and 10 % terpenes. Cannabis Distillate (THC) and Cannabis Distillate (CBD) are refined by two-stage short-path distillation to up to 95 % cannabinoids. Standardized Cannabis Extract Type I and Type II are MCT-based bulk oils adjusted to the agreed THC/CBD setting for compounding and bulk medicinal products. The pure APIs Cannabidiol Ph. Eur. (assay 98.0–102.0 %) and Dronabinol (USP/DAC, assay ≥ 95.0 %) complete the range; THCA is available on request.
Canexis holds EU-GMP Part I and Part II licences, a Swissmedic manufacturing licence and a Swiss narcotics licence. Starting material comes from around ten qualified cultivation partners working to WHO-GACP and is released under GMP against Ph. Eur.-based specifications. Release testing is performed by qualified external GMP laboratories, and every shipment is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis. Technical/quality agreements, on-site audits, national regulatory documentation and DMF/ASMF support are available.
