IGS GeboJagema, a global healthcare mould maker based in the Netherlands, has announced two strategic acquisitions: ACH Solution, an Austrian specialist in silicone rubber injection moulds, including liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and high temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber (HTV), and the medical device operations of FRP, a UK-based rapid prototyping specialist. Together, the acquisitions significantly expand IGS GeboJagema’s ability to serve medical device clients.
The acquisition of ACH Solution diversifies IGS GeboJagema’s offering and opens doors to new segments of the healthcare market. Silicone rubber is increasingly popular in healthcare applications. Compared to natural rubber, it offers superior purity and cleanliness, as well as sustainability advantages. The acquisition of FRP enables IGS GeboJagema to support clients from the earliest concept stages through to full-scale production.
