Sumitomo Chemical has commissioned a new cGMP commercial-scale small
molecules plant at its Oita site, adding new capacity to meet the growing
demand of its global customer base, now offering more than 1,000m3 reactor
capacity over 4 cGMP sites, guaranteeing security of supply for its new
projects. A brand-new state-of-the-art cGMP pilot plant will be
opened in Osaka in fall for quick supply of the first GMP batches.
