NextPharma carbon neutral as of 1 Jan 2025

Düsseldorf, 06/01/2025 — NextPharma confirms it will successfully achieve carbon neutrality from 1st Jan 2025, for its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

NextPharma confirms it will successfully achieve carbon neutrality from 1st Jan 2025, for its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. This announcement follows the launch of the company’s flagship ‘Path to CO2 Neutrality’ commitment in July 2021, focussing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions across all 10 production sites in the NextPharma group.

A key focus for us has been to deliver on our commitment to be CO2-neutral by Jan 2025. We have further strengthened our commitment to this cause by joining the SBTi* initiative which sets ambitious emission reduction targets, in line with the latest climate science. I am pleased to inform you that we are also on track to achieve our goals in this area and am excited by the plans we have that will enable us to deliver more, as part of our next chapter.”
