SHL Medical releases 2025 Sustainability Report

SHL Medical has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, showcasing the company’s progress and commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and responsible growth throughout the reporting year.

Zug, Switzerland – May 19, 2026 – SHL Medical has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, showcasing the company’s progress and commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and responsible growth throughout the reporting year.

The report highlights achievements across four key areas:

• Patients health: SHL Medical expanded our patient reach to approximately 6.5 million people in 2025, up from 5.6 million in 2024, representing year-on-year growth of approximately 16%.• Renewable electricity use: The company achieved 100% renewable electricity across all US and European facilities, and 28.6% renewable electricity in Taiwan, for a global renewable electricity share of 39%.• Eco-design advancements: SHL Medical obtained ISCC Plus certification across its three Taiwan production sites, enabling the use of certified bio-circular polymers in autoinjector manufacturing. The company’s first bio-based device, Quanta, is a multi-dose pen injector specifically developed for once-weekly therapies.• Global expansion: The Taoyuan-Nanmei and Zug sites reached key construction milestones with their topping-out ceremonies, both designed to advance SHL Medical’s operational and sustainability goals. The North Charleston site, officially inaugurated in 2025, grew to 400 employees over the course of the year.

SHL Medical also received the EcoVadis Gold medal in recognition of its achievements in product innovation, supplier and employee engagement, as well as its commitment to human rights and ethical conduct, placing the company among the top 5% in its industry.

2025 marked another significant milestone: SHL Medical shipped its 1.5 billionth device, reinforcing its mission of enabling patients' independence across millions of patients worldwide.
