Pen Tsao Chemical Industry Ltd. invests in API capacity extension and OSD Formulation
Pen Tsao Chemical Industry Ltd. -PTCI- at its Shanghai subsidiary Pen Tsao Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industry Co., Ltd. produce API's and Key Intermediates for China and international markets.
To prepare for the growth in API demands in China and Asia and to enter the fast growing China Pharma market with its own OSD formulations based on its own various Niche API's Rodallis Biopharma Co., Ltd. was established and a plot of 3.5 ha was recently in Pinghu, Zhejiang, China acquired. The new plant will be in 3 km distance of Shanghai's south border and can be reached from both Shanghai International airports within one hour by car.
The investment includes a Multi-Purpose Production with a capacity of 270 tons small molecule API production and a Formulation facility for 70 tons Niche OSD drug production for China domestic and International markets which will be marketed by Rodallis Biopharma. The total investment is estimated at 30 Mio USD.
