Biomerica, Inc. offers a wide range of products which includes ACTH ELISA. This second generation FDA-Cleared Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) ELISA kit. is a direct label 2-site ELISA intended for the quantitative determination of ACTH in human plasma. The test offer a high sensitivity (0.46 pg/ml) and simple 4 1/2 hour assay procedure. ACTH is secreted by the pituitary to regulate the production of steroid hormones by the adrenal cortex. ACTH is useful in the differential diagnosis of pituitary Cushing's disease, Addison's disease, autonomous ACTH producing pituitary tumors (Nelson's syndrome) and others. Packaging: 96 well plate.
