Product Description

The Artisan Evaporator/Stripper™

  • A multi-staged falling film contactor designed to strip volatiles from relatively non-volatile heat sensitive materials.
  • No moving parts
  • Material fed to the top of the stripper cascades down over a series of alternating disc & tube trays, forming a thin film as it flows over each disc and onto the inside of the tube below.
  • Vapor flows up through the center of each tube and around the edges of the disc above, creating an intimate contact between the falling liquid and the rising vapor.
