Product Description

Metoprolol Succinate is a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker used in the management of several cardiovascular conditions. It reduces heart rate and cardiac workload by selectively blocking beta-1 receptors in the heart. The controlled-release formulation is designed to provide prolonged drug release and sustained beta-blockade over the dosing interval. The product is available in 25 mg and 50 mg strengths in packs of 20 and 30 tablets, and in 100 mg strength in packs of 20 tablets. The range of strengths supports individualized dose titration and maintenance therapy according to patient needs and local prescribing information.
