Product Description

Oxygen absorbers are Iron-based compounds which react with moisture to absorb oxygen in the contained environment. Oxygen absorbers create an anaerobic environment by limiting the growth of mould, fungus by cutting off the oxygen supply which is vital for their growth.Oxygen absorbers are used to remove any residual oxygen in the drug product or that permeates into the packaging through its walls. It prolongs the shelf life of the drug by reducing the oxidative effects of the Oxygen to 0.01% in the sealed package environment.
