Product Description

Filling a capsule or preparing a tablet is a frequent challenge in the production process of a medicine or nutritional supplement. Choosing the size of the capsule or compressing the product into a tablet form depends to a large extent on the density of the mixture. The high density of the mixture is caused by a high percentage of ballast air, which limits the targeted filling volume. The product loses volume in the process of compression,based on the removal of ballast air particles.Compression is a process of preparing a homogenized mixture, the result of which is a mixture ready for filling into capsules or for preparing tablets. At Biomin, we use the technology of the German company Alexanderwerk, which mechanism for compressing raw materials can ensure the removal of air particles from the mixture by mechanical force. In this way, the volume of the mixture is reduced, which allows for an increase in the concentration of the product in the final package.
