Contract Dry Agglomeration or Roll Compaction

Dry agglomeration is offered using Fitzpatrick Roll Compactors. Single or multiple powder formulations are compressed between rolls to form a compact. The compact is then milled and sieved in multiple stages to achieve the desired product particle size. Oversize and fines are continuously recycled thus yield loss is minimal.The benefits of the process are increased density, increased particle size, minimised segregation of active components, robust dust free products.
Process standard range from GMP VMD licensed, food to industrial.
Capacity ranges from 50kg/hr to 1,500kg/hr on 5 compaction systems.
