MicroMED has developed the dual bag on-body injector, a wearable on-body injection platform utilizing a Dual-Bag actuation approach. Powered by patented MEMS-enabled gas pump technology, it delivers subcutaneous ultra-large-volume (up to 60mL) biotherapeutics. By overcoming the limitations of traditional spring- and motor-based systems, the dual bag OBI addresses key challenges while focusing on patent-centric considerations.
