Product Description

Wrapping material Tyvek® (spunbonded polyethylene): water vapour permeable, dust-proof, qualified as a Functional Barrier under European Regulation 450/2009. Also available in FSC®-certified paper coated with compostable bio-plastic.

Desiccant
High-purity white silica gel (Hydrated Amorphous Silicon Dioxide, CAS 7631-86-9, EC 231-545-4). Non-hazardous, no labelling required under CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. Also available with molecular sieve or tailored desiccant blends to meet specific moisture protection targets.

Range from 0.25 g to 6 g. Custom weights and widths (19, 22, 25 mm) on request. 1 g and 2 g permanently in stock, available in small batches.

Automatic feeding
Available in continuous strips for integration into automatic packaging lines.

    Primary packaging of solid oral dosage forms (tablets, capsules, effervescent formulations), diagnostic kits, and medical devices. Micro Bags fit inside bottles, blisters, tubes, and boxes and are clearly distinguishable from the product, reducing the risk of mix-up with capsules or tablets. Produced under ISO 15378 (GMP for primary packaging materials) and supported by a Type III Drug Master File.

    Nutraceuticals and food supplements
    Moisture protection of vitamins, probiotics, herbal extracts and other hygroscopic formulations. The desiccant is compliant with USP 670; Micro Bags conform to Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 and Reg. (EU) 10/2011 for food contact materials. Levosil is registered with the Italian National Institute of Health as a food contact material operator.
