Dual-release capsules Diclofenac – 75 mg; Omeprazole – 20 mg Combines an NSAID (diclofenac) for pain and inflammation relief with a proton-pump inhibitor (omeprazole) that protects the gastric mucosa, reducing the risk of NSAID-induced ulcers. Diclofenac inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX-1/COX-2), lowering prostaglandin-mediated pain, swelling and stiffness in musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. The dual-release capsule is designed to raise gastric pH with omeprazole ahead of diclofenac absorption, aligning gastroprotection with NSAID exposure throughout the dosing interval. This fixed-dose approach can improve adherence compared with taking an NSAID and a gastroprotective agent as two separate medicines.
