Dopamine Hydrochloride Injection

Dopamine Hydrochloride Injection is indicated for the correction of hemodynamic imbalances present in the shock syndrome due to myocardial infarction, trauma, endotoxic septicemia, cardiac operation, renal failure, and chronic cardiac decompensation as in congestive heart failure; the shock cannot be corrected after blood volume supplementation, especially those with oliguria and normal or low peripheral vascular resistance. Since this product can increase cardiac output, it is also used for cardiac insuffciency in which digitalis and diuretics are ineffective.
