The Red Dot Design Concept 2026 award winning autoinjector is a two-step, single-use autoinjector platform, for both 1mL and 2.25mL pre-filled syringes in a single device configuration.

Designed to be scalable, affordable and sustainable, Eco-Inject has reinvented the autoinjector, drawing on a 'first principles' design approach. This has reduced the autoinjector to five bio-based moulded parts, delivering sustainability without a change in patient behaviour.


compatible with both 1mL and 2.25mL PFS in any fill volume and a wide range of viscosities. The device delivers carbon footprint, energy and cost savings through a reduction in part count, simple sub-assembly and final assembly creating a significant reduction in manufacturing footprint. 


We removed complexity. Carbon emissions came out with it.
