Deferasirox is an oral iron-chelating agent used for the management of chronic iron overload. It binds excess iron with high affinity and facilitates its elimination, primarily through the feces, helping reduce iron accumulation associated with repeated blood transfusions or other conditions causing iron overload. The portfolio includes 125 mg, 250 mg and 500 mg dispersible tablets in packs of 28 tablets, as well as 90 mg, 180 mg and 360 mg film-coated tablets in packs of 30 tablets, providing multiple strength and dosage-form options to support individualized iron-chelation therapy according to local prescribing information.
