The BRAIN Biotech Group’s proprietary bioarchive offers access to an immense variety of new biological solutions for sustainable industrial processes and ingredients. The BRAIN BioArchive encompasses microorganisms, natural compounds, fractions obtained from edible plant material, proprietary metagenome and enzyme libraries, as well as complete metabolic pathways including previously uncultivable organisms. The company is continuously expanding this unique, dynamic “Nature´s toolbox”.

At our site in Wales, we can ferment up to the 10m3 scale and thus produce enzymes up to the ton scale. All the required DSP equipment is in place, complemented with advanced chromatography and a recently installed large scale freeze drier.
