FIONNA tablets

FIONNA is a dietary supplement, which supplements the diet with folate (in the form of (65) -5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid glucosamine salt).
FIONNA is recommended in the period of a special need for folic acid: pregnant women and women planning to become pregnant, with folic acid deficiency in the diet, as well as, for example, when frequently feeling tired and exhausted, also during the period of exposure to infections. Supplementation with folates increases their content in the mother's body. Increasing the folate content helps to reduce the risk of neural tube defects. Folate has a role in the process of cell division, also contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, to normal amino acid synthesis and to normal blood formation. 

Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
