Greenaldolase®

The Greenaldolase® enzyme assay kit consists of 30 engineered aldolase enzymes and demonstrates activity exceeding 90% against the designated substrates. These enzymes may serve as a promising foundation for subsequent engineering efforts aimed at enhancing their activity and can be a good starting point for further engineering to improve activity and organic solvent tolerance, acetaldehyde tolerance, broad pH tolerance, thermostability, and other desirable traits. Several variants have undergone pilot-scale testing, exhibiting greater than 90% activity with 99% e.e. at substrate concentrations of 30-50 g/L, temperatures exceeding 55°C, pH values exceeding 8.0, and acetaldehyde tolerance 50-60 g/L.​
