Inosine Pranobex, also known as Isoprinosine/ Methisoprinol / Inosine acedoben dimepranol is an alkylamino-alcohol complex of inosine and a salt of acetamidobenzoic acid with dimethylaminoisopropanol in a 1:3 molar ratio. It enhances the proliferation of lymphocytes – particularly T-cells – and boosts cytokine production, including interleukin-2 and interferon-gamma. Additionally, Inosine Pranobex exhibits antiviral effects by inhibiting viral RNA synthesis and replication, helping reduce viral load in infected individuals.
