Product Description

Lactose is a disaccharide of the sugars D-galactose and D-glucose obtained from the whey fraction of bovine milk. A white, or almost white, free-flowing, crystalline, water-soluble, non-hygroscopic powder with a mildly sweet taste. Used as an excipient for the production of tablets by wet granulation or direct compression and capsule filling.
