Key Ingredients: Povidone-Iodine — 3 g (10% concentration)

How It Works: Acts as a broad-spectrum antiseptic through the gradual, sustained release of active iodine from the polyvinylpyrrolidone polymer complex. Delivers highly effective bactericidal action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria without causing tissue burning or irritation. Forms a temporary, lightly colored protective layer at the site of application, maintaining active antimicrobial efficacy until the complete release of active iodine.

Primary Indications: Pre- and post-operative skin and mucosal antisepsis; skin preparation prior to invasive procedures (biopsies, punctures, blood sampling, injections); antiseptic care around catheters, drains, and probes; pre-surgical hand disinfection for medical personnel; and hygienic hand sanitization when caring for infected patients.
