A strip of single or multilayered thin polymeric films which will deliver API or combination of APIs inside the oral cavity. Depending on API properties and formulation, the absorption is either gastro-intestinal or transmucosal. Gastro intestinal films are discreet and patient friendly as one does not need water to take (very well suited for children and elderly patients). Transmucosal absorption translate into fast action (emergency products, or drugs targetting migraine, vomiting, pain...)
