UV-shield or opaque tubing is a custom extrusion offered by Freudenberg Medical. It is commonly used in pharmaceutical applications where protection from light, particularly ultraviolet (UV) light, is essential to maintain the integrity and stability of light-sensitive fluids. As with all PharmaFocus® Premium tubing, ASTC UV-Shield Tubing is made with a premium silicone raw material specifically formulated for demanding biopharma applications.
