Silicified Microcrystalline Cellulose (SMCC) is composed of intimately associated microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) and 2% colloidal silicon dioxide particles (CSD), derived from aqueous coprocessing prior to drying the material during manufacture.By coprocessing technology, CSD is uniformly distributed on surface of MCC particle.
