L-Fenchone is produced by oxidation of d-alpha/beta Fenchol which is obtained by Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement with hydration of (-)alpha-pinene (Pinus pinaster Aiton) and following vacuum distillation.

Menthone is obtained by fractionated distillation from the essential oil of Mentha arvensis.

L-Menthol is obtained from the essential oils of various species of Mentha arvensis by crystallisation.

Steam distillation of the fresh, flowering aerial parts of Mentha arvensis L., and following rectification of the essential oil with partial separation of Menthol. The dementholized mint oil is partially deterpenized by following rectification.

Steam distillation of the flowering aerial parts of Rosmarinus officinalis L. and following vacuum distillation.

Steam distillation of the flowering weed of Salvia officinalis L. and following vacuum distillation.

Essential oil obtained by steam distillation oft he fresh flowering aerial parts of Thymus vulgaris L., T. zygis L. or of a mixture of both species and following vacuum distillation.

Steam distillation of the turpentine balsam of Pinus Pinaster A. and following vacuum distillation.

Obtained by fractionated distillation and crystallisation from the oil of Eucalyptus globulus and following vacuum distillation.

Steam distillation with following rectification of the fresh leaves or fresh twig-tips of Eucalyptus globulus Labill. and following vacuum distillation.

Steam distillation of the flowers of Lavendula officinalis Chaix and following vacuum distillation.

Essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the fresh arial parts of Mentha piperita L. with following rectification.
