Surface functionalization by mold micro/nano texturing

Product Description

The surface functionalization technology developed by Clayens is based on the direct texturing of injection mold cavities, using patterns at the micro- and nanometric scale. These structures in the tooling are then perfectly replicated on each injected plastic part, endowing the surfaces with new functional properties without the need for chemical treatments or additives. 

Flow properties : enables surfaces to become superhydrophobic or superhydrophilic
Anti-friction & anti-sticking effects : reduces friction forces by 50% without modifying the material or adding any extra process even compared to PTFE charged materials  
Antibacterial properties : impressive results without the use of chemical additives
