The Monotube

The Monotube is made of 100% recycled aluminium (95% post-consumer and 5% post-industrial recycled aluminium). It is infinitely recyclable and has an aluminium closure instead of a plastic cap, which makes the tube even easier to recycle. Because every part of the Monotube is produced from a single material, it is manufactured in just one production step that includes the closure – there is no need to separately manufacture and screw on a plastic cap.


The Monotube’s clever design gives consumers the option of emptying the tube in one go,  or resealing it temporarily.


The specially developed aluminium alloy used for the Monotube closes the loop by incorporating aluminium packaging that has been used and thrown away by end-consumers. Combined with highly carbon-sensitive production across TUBEX’s supply chain, this means that the Monotube cuts emissions and scores highly on circularity.
