This functional sugar is known for playing a large role in women’s health. D-Mannose is a beneficial sugar that is derivedfrom glucose. It has been highly studied for said preventative actions against UTI’s. It works by attaching itself to E. colibacteria that may lie in the urinary tract, and is then excreted out, taking the bacteria with it.
