Exco InTouch Address mHealth Solutions in Management of Chronic Conditions at 2014 mHealth Summit
Exco InTouch, the leading provider of digital patient engagement and data capture solutions for clinical research and healthcare providers, will speak in two mHealth Solutions sessions focused on disease management at the annual mHealth Summit on Monday, 8th and Tuesday 9th December 2014. In addition, on Wednesday, 10th December, Tim Davis, the CEO and Founder of Exco InTouch, will participate in the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHA)’s thought leadership roundtable discussion focused on driving cross sector collaboration to improve patient care, reporting and outcomes through mobile and connected health.
The mHealth Summit, now 6 years in the making, is firmly established as the largest mobile health event in the world, and will be held 7–11 December 2014 in Washington DC, USA. Tim Davis will address delivering a holistic self-management programme for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the ‘Condition Management with Mobile and Connected Health’ session and Chris Watson, Product Manager, will examine how to deliver mHealth programmes, from pilot through to production, across borders at the event’s ‘Scaling mHealth’ session.
Tim Davis commented: “We are delighted to be speaking at this year’s mHealth Summit. Disease management is a crucial area of healthcare and mHealth is set to deliver ever more impactful solutions to the complex challenges for treating patients suffering from chronic conditions across the globe. I look forward to showing how applying a holistic self-management approach to mobile-enabled disease management programmes works to improve patient outcomes and, ultimately, their quality of life.”
Chris Watson commented: “Bringing the full benefits of mHealth solutions across multiple geographic boundaries presents unique challenges. The multitude of varying and complex regulations and differing patient requirements for the precise type and form of mobile and digital technology to be applied requires providers to be highly adaptable, to have strong regional knowledge and to be highly compliant. I very much look forward to sharing our experience in this field.”
