Lucy Chard interviews pharma guru and podcast aficionado, Gil Roth, in the latest episode of the CPHI Podcast Series on outsourcing and manufacturing trends in pharma.
Gil Roth is the President of the Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association (PBOA, https://pharma-bio.org), which is a nonprofit trade group advocating for the regulatory, legislative, and general business interests of the CMO/CDMO sector. He founded the PBOA in 2014 after a 15-year run as the Founding Editor of Contract Pharma magazine, and has grown the membership from an initial slate of 15 companies to more than 45. Gil delves into the most exciting aspects of outsourcing and manufacturing, including some of the biggest areas of innovation and technology, such as cell and gene therapeutics. We also get an update on the industry as a whole since the COVID-19 pandemic and how companies are adapting to changes in the market and regional trends. It was a privilege to be able to speak with Gil and get to hear his extensive knowledge on the subject!
