SP Scientific has announced the dates, venues and agendas for its September 2018 international ‘Insights in Lyophilization Science’ tour.
With informative seminar programs published for Basel (Switzerland), Dublin (Ireland), Boston (USA) and Warminster (USA), the tour is designed to benefit anyone involved or interested in lyophilization science and applications.
Each seminar will offer its own unique panel of esteemed presenters with a varied array of topics about fundamentals and special insights into lyophilization processes. Led by Dr Henning Gieseler, and Dr Margit Gieseler, Co-CEOs of GILYOS, topics will include the latest developments in process development, nucleation control, scale-up of freeze drying cycles, development in lyophilization technology, and more. This educational tour is an inspiring and unique opportunity to gain exclusive insights into the freeze-drying industry from internationally recognised experts.
The tour will be launched with “The Advance Through Networks Seminar” in Basel on 5 September 2018. At this event, guest presenters will include Alexandra Braun and Julia Kosen of Freeze Drying Focus Group (FDFG) and Tim Wenzel and Henning Gieseler of GILYOS GmbH.
On 7 September 2018 “The Combined Decades of Experience Seminar” in Dublin will include guest presentations from Dr Kevin Ward of Biopharma UK as well as Tim Wenzel, Alexandra Braun, and Adrian Bennis of AMGEN.
Taking place at the Pfizer Research Technology Center in Cambridge, Boston on September 10th 2018 the “Walk Through the Pikal World of Freeze Drying Over the Past Two Decades Seminar” will feature a special program focused on the scientific contributions of the late Prof. Dr. Michael J. Pikal and his lasting impact on the industry, from presenters including Dr Serguei Tchessalov, Dr Charlie Tang, Dr Lokesh Kumar, Dr Puneet Sharma, and more.
The final leg of the 2018 tour will take place at SP Scientific’s corporate headquarters in Warminster, PA. This “Combined Decades of Experience Seminar” will include presentations from Dr. Karen Bossert, Dr Alexandra Braun, Dr Tim Wenzel, and other leading experts from the US lyophilization community.
