Product Description

Amitraz is a broad-spectrum acaricide and insecticide widely used in agriculture, horticulture, and veterinary medicine. It is particularly effective against ticks, mites, and lice on animals, and also helps control a variety of insect pests in crops.

Mechanism of Action: Amitraz acts on the nervous system of ectoparasites by targeting octopamine receptors, which are found only in invertebrates. By interfering with these receptors, it disrupts normal physiological functions, leading to paralysis and ultimately the death of the parasite.
