This medication is a combination of four molecules: Bromhexine is a mucolytic with an expectorant effect. Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions due to depolarization of the acidic polysaccharides contained in it and stimulation of the secretory cells of the bronchial mucosa, which produce a secret containing neutral polysaccharides.
Terbutaline sulfate is a beta-adrenergic agonist. It stimulates mainly ß2-adrenergic receptors of the bronchi, myometrium and, to a much lesser extent, ßl-adrenergic receptor the myocardium. It has a bronchodilating effect, increases mucociliary clearance, reduces swelling of the bronchial mucosa.Guaifenesin has expectorant properties. Reduces the surface tension and adhesive properties of sputum, which reduces its viscosity and facilitates evacuation from the respiratory tract. Guaifenesin has anxiolytic effect.

Menthol acts as a sedative.
