The rules changed. From 27 September 2026, Directive (EU) 2024/825 on empowering consumers for the green transition prohibits product claims such as carbon neutral, climate neutral or net zero product when they rest on greenhouse gas offsetting outside the value chain. Claims based on measured reductions within the value chain remain permitted.


We therefore build neutrality the defensible way: a complete GHG inventory, a genuine reduction plan first, and only then careful selection of certified credits for the documented residual.


Organisational carbon neutrality is then certified under ISO 14068-1, with the claim, boundary and residual clearly evidenced.
