CEFUROXIME 250 mg, 750 mg and 1.5 g powder for solution for injection

Active ingredients: Cefuroxime as sterile cefuroxime sodium - 250 mg, 750 mg or 1.5 g. CEFUROXIME-BCPP is a 2nd generation cephalosporin antibiotic for intramuscular or intravenous administration. CEFUROXIME-BCPP is a bactericidal agent with a wide-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Indications CEFUROXIME-BCPP is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by CEFUROXIME-susceptible microorganisms: respiratory tract infections (acute and chronic bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia, infected bronchiectasis, lung abscess and postoperative chest infections; ear, nose and throat infections sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, otitis media); urinary tract infections (acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, asymptomatic bacteriuria); soft tissue infections (cellulitis, erysipelas, wound infections); bone and joint infections (osteomyelitis, septic arthritis); obstetric and gynaecological infections, pelvic inflammatory disease; gonorrhoea, particularly if penicillin is unsuitable; other infections (septicaemia, meningitis, peritonitis).
