MEROPENEM 500 mg, 1 g powder for solution for injection

Active ingredients: Meropenem (as sterile meropenem trihydrate) - 500 mg of 1000 mg. It is a β-lactam antibiotic and belongs to the subgroup of carbapenem. It is highly resistant to all serine β-lactamases. It has a pronounced bactericidal action against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Indications Merobocid is indicated for the treatment of the following infections in adults and children over 3 months of age: • pneumonia, including community-acquired pneumonia and hospital-acquired pneumonia; • broncho-pulmonary infections in cystic fibrosis; • complicated urinary tract infections; • complicated intra-abdominal infections; • Intra- and post-natal infections; • complicated skin and soft tissue infections; • acute bacterial meningitis. Dosage and pharmaceutical form: Powder for solution for injection 500 mg or 1000 mg in vials; 1 vial; 1 vial per carton.
