Ypsomed continued on its growth trajectory in the first half of the 2025/26 financial year, the Delivery Systems business reached CHF 266.6 million of sales. This represents a 21.0% increase compared to the same period last year. The Delivery Systems EBIT surged to CHF 86.5 million, i.e. an EBIT margin of 32.4%. Including the divested Diabetes Care business and other one-off effects across all business areas, Ypsomed generated half-year sales of CHF 362.7 million and an EBIT of CHF 151.7 million. Following the divestment of the Diabetes Care business, we increase our focus on our core competence and market leading position in self-injection systems.

Ypsomed’s latest study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Medical Devices: Evidence and Research, puts this to the test. The human factors validation focused on the SmartPilot, a digital add-on that provides visual and auditory feedback during injection and automatically logs injection data for therapy monitoring. The goal: to determine whether patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals could use SmartPilot successfully – even without prior training.

Ypsomed has achieved an important regulatory milestone in China: the packaging registration for the YpsoMate 1 mL has been officially approved. This approval authorizes Ypsomed to commence full-scale production of the YpsoMate 1 mL in strict accordance with the registered documentation, paving the way for commercial supply to customers.

Burgdorf – Ypsomed Holding AG (SIX: YPSN) announced today that it has successfully completed the sale of its Ypsomed Diabetes Care business to TecMed AG.

Burgdorf – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted 510(k) clearance for SmartPilot, a digital connectivity add-on developed by Ypsomed. The device transforms the YpsoMate autoinjector into a connected system that automatically captures and transmits injection data. The clearance marks an important step toward digital health solutions that offer deeper insights into therapy use, enable objective monitoring, and support improved adherence and treatment outcomes.

Burgdorf – Ypsomed (SIX: YPSN) is set to capture significant growth in multiple existing and emerging drug delivery markets and announces a mid-term ambition to reach total sales between CHF 0.9 and 1.1 billion and an EBIT between CHF 280 and 340 million in 2029/30 and to retain a ROCE around 20 % throughout the period.

Burgdorf, 10.10.2025, 7 a.m. – Ypsomed will establish its first manufacturing facility in the United States. The company has selected Holly Springs in Wake County, North Carolina, as the location and will invest around CHF 200 million in a first phase. This is another milestone in Ypsomed’s global growth strategy, bringing the company closer to its customers and enabling it to serve local markets directly. From end of 2027 onwards, the new site in Holly Springs will supply products for the U.S. market.
