Custom Components for Radiotherapy Systems

Protolis manufactured the custom enclosures for a high-performance medical machine. The integrated system involved 46 distinct parts made from PC V0 plastic, ABS, and stainless steel.
The biggest enclosure measured 1.7 m × 1.1 m × 1.4 m is the key challenge . It was impossible to mold or fabricate the cover as a single block. Instead, the parts had to be divided into multiple sections, then precisely assembled and bonded together. This process required advanced technical expertise: each section needed to maintain exact dimensions, align perfectly with its neighboring parts, and withstand structural stresses without warping or weakening.
Finishing and logo silk-screen printing were critical for the client. Color consistency across all parts had to be guaranteed. Over 120 pages of testing documentation were produced to validate compliance with the client’s 2D drawings.
